Skips can be dropped on a private property such as your drive or on the road outside your house. Skips can also be dropped at business, offices or factories. For contractors and builders.

Q Do I need a permit to place a skip on the road? |

Yes. Skips located on public roads, pavements or grass verges require a permit, we can organise this for you, or you can apply for it yourself from your local council. They charge a small fee for them normaly around £20 to £30

Q Is there anything that I cannot put in a skip? |

In accordance with environmental legislation, Asbestos Based Materials, Chemicals, fridge freezers, Televisions, Microwaves, Cookers, Asbestos, Oils/filters, Aerosols, Batteries, plasterboard, Gas cylinders, Computer equipment, Silicone/Mastic tubes, Fluorescent tubes or tyres are not permitted to be placed in a skip.

Q What Are your skip loading rules? |

Skips must be level-loaded at all times to ensure safety and that rubbish remains contained whilst in transit.

Q How long can I keep a skip? |

The price is the same whether you have the skip for one day or one week. This can be extended more than 1 week at request, additional costs may be charged.

Q How much notice do I need to order a skip? |

24 hour notice is usually required for deliveries, collections and exchanges. However, sometimes we can offer same day service for local areas. We try to guarantee a next day service for either the morning or afternoon. For people who have a tight schedule, we will try our utmost to work around your requirements.

Q Can you do the job outside ordinary business hours? |

If you require a pick-up outside ordinary business hours, let us know and we will try our best to accommodate your requirements.

Q Are you insured? |

Yes. Our trucks and drivers are fully insured to do this work, including cover against any unlikely damage caused to a client's property when removing waste from the premises.

Every effort is made to recycle whatever we can whenever financially possible.The majority goes to recycling depots and licensed transfer stations. We are dedicated to reducing what goes to land fill.

Q What happens after my waste it is taken away in a skip? |

Skips are taken to a fully licensed waste transfer station for recycling to ensure that the minimum of rubbish goes to landfill .
